End of an Era…

By: Jeb Crandall

It is official…the temperature in Indianapolis will now forever be minus 18. What has been speculated about for months has finally reached a determination - Peyton Manning is no longer an Indianapolis Colt. After 14 years with the Colts, Peyton and the franchise have decided to part ways. While most fans did not see this as a shock (due to Peyton’s recent injuries and the Colts upcoming number one draft pick), there is more of a feeling of sadness in seeing Peyton leave. Aside from his on the field heroics, Peyton played an invaluable role in elevating the city of Indianapolis to what it is today. From being an instrumental part in landing a new stadium, to his countless philanthropic efforts across the community, Peyton Manning has forever left his mark on the city, regardless of the color of his future uniform. Good luck #18!!

BDC Attorneys Attending DRI Medical Liability Seminar In New Orleans

By: Jim Bleeke

Jim, Carol, Richard and Stephanie will be attending DRI’s Medical Liability Seminar March 7-9, in New Orleans. Prior to the general meeting program, our attorneys will be attending special panel counsel meetings where some of our existing clients will be sharing important information to help us handle their cases better. We are also looking forward to learning from the excellent program agenda, including a presentation by Stan Starnes on excellent client service in the medical liability context.

DRI’s Medical Liability and Nursing Home seminars also provide us an opportunity to socialize and share work experiences with many of our favorite attorneys from around the country.

This year we also look forward to checking out the site of next year’s Super Bowl, to see if they can match the fun and enthusiasm we had this year in Indianapolis. We also plan to check out the new restaurant/bar called Mannings, which bears a name that is close to all of our hearts.
